ROKH is a sci-fi survival sandbox with location on Mars, where you have to learn to adapt to the harsh conditions not to end up like the colonies that have arrived before your place. The game at first sight seems to be quite complex due to the UI and everything else and largely it, you are not explained much of what to do that and how, only in the mission to restore communications and to do you will have to experience De First-hand adversities Tuesday, maybe a couple of times before catching the pace to the game.
As these types of game are usually, it does not have a history by itself but there is no value of the dance nature of it. ROKH however you give a few clues to the history of the environment in which you find, showing the bases of the colonies that were before you and some events that occur in a good idea of what could happen to them.
Because it is a Minecraft style survival sandbox, you can expect to spend a good deal of time in the game before you fully understand it. Their game is simply to undermine, create, improve and survive. Besides that you have to be in one of the things like the oxygen of your suit, the water and your level of hunger. What the game does perfectly well, is its crafting system, it feels quite natural to the type of game it is.
Each tool has its use and you have to find out what it is when you get experience with these. Although the game has a few bugs and it gets repetitive pretty fast, if you like this type of games, I think you may like it. The game has a rather strange multiplayer because there is no communion with the other users and given how vast and large the map is, at least that was to be expected, although the sea a simple chat system.
The game has some beautiful graphics based on the Unreal Engine 4, the game can give you a surprise in this aspect if there is not much expectation of it, I did not what it did and well, corrected me. The events that happen on the planet make you immerse them a little in the game, the colors and the lighting are well structured. But animations lack fluidity and character.
One of the weakest of my opinion is this, the soundtrack is monotone and does not change according to events, if you are dying is the same, if there is a meteor shower is the same. The sounds of the excavation and the quite inaccurate creation that they get out of the dive and quite bored.
The game becomes monotonous after a few minutes and the soundtrack there is no trial some events inside the place, there is no voice chat and has quite strange animations, said that, the game has a lot of growth space for only this in Early Access and apparently the team has a good idea of how to improve the game, is entertaining and play with friends, you can explore the red planet and last a long time doing this. ROKH is not a bad game and is working to be a good game, just wait to see what the future holds.
