With Halloween coming up this month, the game industry has some upcoming game titles that is worth checking out. The following are the games I’m most excited to play this month. Let’s see:
The third installment in the Mafia series takes place in a fictional recreation of New Orleans during 1968. As lead protagonist Lincoln Clay, players are tasked with building up a crime organization to go head-to-head with the Italian mob. If you’re a fan of third-person action games with solid storytelling and GTA sized environments to explore, then you’ll definitely want to check out Mafia III.
Paper Mario: Color Splash
This is the first Paper Mario game to be released on Wii U and will most likely be the last with the NX slated to hit retailers early next year.
Gears of War 4
This particular title takes place 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3 and revolves around a new generation of fighters led by Marcus Fenix’s son. Gears of War 4 is the fifth major release from the franchise and The Coalition’s first official entry in the series.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 year celebration
This particular version of the game has a new DLC mission that can be played on PlayStation VR and multiplayer support for Endurance mode.
Rock Band Rivals
The Rock Band Rivals expansion brings brand new features to Rock Band™ 4. Perform your way through an epic rock documentary about your band in a new campaign mode, join Crews to prove your skill and crush your opponents through weekly online challenges, and get a free backstage pass to months of additional game updates.
The single-player campaign will allow players to experience various battles throughout World War I while multiplayer modes are expected to support up to 64 players.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
This sequel takes place two years after the events of the first game and features a new protagonist that aims to alter the course of history.
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood
Strap yourself in for the most disturbing rollercoaster ride you’ll ever take. From the warped minds of the team behind PlayStation 4 horror classic Until Dawn, comes Until Dawn: Rush of Blood – a virtual reality experience to strike fear into the hearts of every trigger-happy arcade shooter fan.
Arm yourself to the teeth then blast your way through a horde of enemies and monsters coming at you from all angles. Duck and dodge everything that’s thrown at you in this fright-filled rollercoaster ride from hell– exclusive to PlayStation VR. Can you survive seven levels of pure terror to top the global leaderboards?
In addition to appearing on PS4 for the first time, this game also promises to have a compelling single-player story campaign mode. If you enjoyed the first TitanFall but felt that it was light on content, then this beefier sequel may appeal to you.
Did I miss any other games?
