Naughty Dog undoubtedly had a great launch for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. It’s crazy to believe it has been 3 months since its release. Uncharted 4 did not release with co-op though. In fact, it still is not part of the game yet. Naughty Dog promised it would be on the way as a free update in Autumn 2016. Well, look at the time! We are officially in autumn and my source tells me that Naughty Dog will be making the announcement for the release date very soon.
Co-op is just one of the many features being added with the free update. Oh, that’s right, IT’S FREE. Naughty Dog is SoGood! They also made the following promise:
“It was our goal from the start to give players the ability to earn DLC items through gameplay. No DLC item is available exclusively using Uncharted Points.” – Robert Cogburn, Lead Game Designer
Typical Naughty Dog thing to do. Not only do they focus on quality games, but also quality community care. Its seems to be more common, especially as of late, for companies to nickel and dime their customers. They have time and time again proven their worth in the gaming community. Always raising the bar.
I myself have been looking forward to coop since they made the announcement on the PlayStation Blog. I love being able to earn DLC items through achievements. It’s the true sign of a gamer in my opinion. Well, that and I cheap. Not going to lie, I’ve already put in too many hours, but it looks like I’ll be putting down No Man’s Sky for a while to get some Uncharted 4 co-op when it releases. I would say look forward to a mid-September time frame on this update release.
Are you more excited for the co-op or the other features releasing in this Autumn 2016 Uncharted 4 update? I am hoping to find out more on the single player DLC soon.
